Visual Definitions

Typography II | Myers School of Art | 2019

Description: The task was to produce a total of four compositions, consisting of two grayscale compositions and two full-color compositions, each aligned with a specific definition. Each student was given two words from the provided list. To create visually engaging, suitable, and memorable compositions, we needed to consider the application of various principles of two-dimensional design.

The project required the generation of 12 unique concepts for each visual definition. It was recommended to incorporate Gestalt principles and implement a modular grid system to facilitate the design process and enhance the overall visual impact.
